Service Description

What is Hijama/Cup[ing Therapy? The word 'Hijama" comes from the Arabic word 'Hijm" which means to vacuum/suck. Hijama is also referred to as 'cupping' due to the use of cups being the therapeutic tools. Sterile plastic cups are placed on certain points of the body as a form of holistic medicine. Depending on the types of cupping therapy being performed (dry/wet) different process will take place. Wet cupping is where sterile plastic cups are placed using suction to the body. The cups are removed and then small scratch like incisions are made to the body. The cups are then reapplied using suction to allow the removal of blood from the skin. The blood removed is toxic/waste blood that sits between the skin and muscles, This form of Hijama is a Sunnah. What can be treated/improved with cupping? Headaches, migraines, blood pressure, hypertension/hypotension, back/shoulder/neck pains, circulatory problems, fertility problems, high cholesterol, digestive system, respiratory conditions, acne, asthma, hay fever, congestion, depression, anxiety, stress, fatigue, stiff muscles, inflammation, rheumatism, general well being, bodily detox, bowel problems, arthritis, gout, acid reflux, menstrual pains, urinary inconsistency, stomach aches, heartburn, diabetes, neuralgia, insomnia, improve metabolism & much more.
